The CJ Ernst Ventures, LLC Ranches are diverse properties with so much to offer. The properties offers a good mix of pastures, timber, and open areas with multiple elevation changes. With multiple entries from State Highway 75 or State Highway 31. Old roads and trails allow access to every area of the property. The changes in elevation provide many potential homesite locations to build on with views. Ponds scattered across the property provide a water source for the wildlife, which are abundant. Whitetail Deer, Elk, Hogs, Turkey, Coyote, Bobcats, and other animals move through the open areas, while utilizing the timber as cover. The largest pond in the covers appx 4 acres.
Headquartered on 1771+/- acres north of Coalgate, Oklahoma, in Coal County, and an additional 1500+/- in Bryan County near Yuba, CJ Ernst Ventures, LLC, has worked for many years to establish working cattle and hunting ranches that one could be proud of. The headquarters are located about 20 miles north of Coalgate, the ranch is at the heart of two major terrain regions, it contains one of the most diverse and beautiful ranch landscapes in Oklahoma. The eastern part of the county lies in the Ouachita Mountains, while the western part has open prairie and lies in the Sandstone Hills physiographic region. The county is drained by the Clear Boggy and Muddy Boggy creeks. Enjoy ranching and hunting in the midst of our rolling hills, with a property that offers a good mix of pastures, timber, and open areas with multiple elevation changes.
Hunting is phenomenal with several two hundred class Boon & Crockett whitetails recently harvested. Other game includes turkey, quail and duck frequent the main lake. A hunter's cabin is available for leased hunting. Main house is a 2019 Modular home with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and installed Generac generator.
